The Executive Committee of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2009, headed by MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando and its officers, announced today the eight official entries to the MMFF 2009. Here are the Eight Official Entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2009:

Marian Rivera now has her own MMFF movie - Nieves.

She made her debut as Nieves in last year's Shake Rattle and Roll film.

Manny Pacquiao lost a lot of money the last time he produced/starred in a film that was part of the MMFF of 2007 - Anak ng Kumander.

It was made with a budget of P30,000,000, and it grossed a grand total of only P2,500,000

I know a few Pacquiao diehards who are eagerly anticipating Wapakman. Krista Ranillo, who is the subject of controvery, is one of Pacman's ladies in that film.
