caring for tame siberian dwarf hamsters as pets - is it siberian or campbells?
most pet shop dwarf hamsters are actually campbells but the pet shop staff always mistakenly (by habit) calls them siberians . "Siberian Hamster" is now a commonly accepted term for Campbells
to differentiate them, here is a quote from hamsterific.com - "A Winter White (Siberian) has three stripes—the dorsal stripe and one on each crescent (on the side where the belly color meets the top coat)."

caring for tame siberian dwarf hamsters as pets - make sure you have secure containers for your pets
A small aquarium is acceptable as long as it has the following:
>enough litter to cover the entire area
>a food tray
>a water bottle - if hanged by a wire to the top of the aquarium, just make sure that your hamster will not use it as an escape route
>a screen cover that allows maximum ventilation and that can not be opened or be breached by other animals (dogs, cats, rats, snakes, etc.)

wow!
i searched the internet for that resun 400 . it looks great in the picture with the front opening (with lock! ) plus the ventilation design (on the top and sides! ). i'm glad for your lucky hamster in that beautiful terrarium

. new pups may be ready (tame) in 1-2 weeks
