i believe modems are open to all ports. just check its firewall services.
access sa modem/router: default sa speedtouch 10.0.0.138 man tali...nya butang imo username passwd...adto sa NAPT...ana i add...unsa diay na cya nga port? para asa na?
para game server sa mu.. ;p. have it done already
tamblot is right.. ports are already open by default.. NAPT is the option for you. Be sure that ur server is open to accept the forwarded ports. If you really want to off the firewall of the modem then ftp the modem e.g. type ftp 10.0.0.138 then supply the username & password, in the prompt type "ip config firewalling=off" <no double quote> and hit enter.

btw, modems only make a connection, they have nothing to do with opening/closing ports I assumed he meant port forwarding =/..."@hybrid: para game server sa mu.. ;p. have it done already"
read the manual on your firewall. Besides those are not trusted/normal ports, normally those ports are used by malware
My apology, it's not ftp but telnet rather. ST511e is a modem/router, derived from the model ST510.
The ST511e model does not come with a gui for firewall setting u have to telnet to the router. You can do it by type on your dos mode telnet 10.0.0.138 thats the default ip for the router but if not substitute the correct ip. The ST511e model does not have a user guide for the firewall setup i recommend the manual for ST500 or if not available ST510, get the CLI guide located on www.speedtouch.com. !WARNING! this settings may f**k up your router so before doing anything save your settings.don't worry easily resettable man ang ST511e you can't erase its factory settings but para dili mag sigi reconfigure save sa
