This is what they(M-CPP) want. To monopoly terrorism in our country. That's why they have been passing their fake "U.S. Terrorism" story off as it is real one for 4 decades.

Go U.S.! Intervene or do some preemptive strike to prevent these Terrorist groups from destroying our country and putting our innocent citizen into the quicksand of poverty then chaos. You might have not totally eliminated them but at least you could lessen their influence and strength.

This is not only a national problem but a global one since Abu-sayaff, MILF and CPP-NDF-NPA are tagged by international community as notorious terrorist group.

yeah... that's what i don't get. Even china has veered away from the teachings of Mao. why are they still continuing what has been proven as a failed ideology.

Why is it that whenever we kick the bases out there's some other country out there more than willing to take them in? Is it because we are that stupid and shortsighted? We have such a misplaced sense of nationality, national ego is not necessarily hurt by the presence of a foreign force that may have a deterrent effect on our potential enemies. On the other hand, our national ego is always damaged by bad governance and our economic weakness.

Instead of worrying about foreign troops here, we should be more concerned about improving our governance and economy so that one day we will have enough money to fund a strong military and will no longer need the VFA or other arrangements. Even Singapore has an American military presence, but you don't hear anyone call them the lapdogs of the Americans...
