Don't bother with inane, child-like replies. No thought / spam style posts may get your quota up, but only serve to reinforce your dubious persona.

Hi Joseph. I think it's a very strong image that tends to make people angry for the wrong reasons. I put a wiki link on the post if anybody wanted to probe a little further. Basically the priest in the photo was an avid supporter of the Nazi party and saw no conflict of interest in his actions. The picture was not taken under duress and by blessing those Nazis (many of whom would go on to do unspeakable things) he in a sense lent legitimacy to their beliefs.

You don't have to join a religion in order to KNOW GOD.

GOD IS WITHIN US ALL THE TIME...HERE and NOW!

religion, is the product of human nature, where hence does human nature comes from?

Spirituality precedes Religion? Tell me, what is Spirituality and what is Religion, they are in end, the same concepts, spelled differently and results into extremely different interpretation; a bridge long enough to connect New York to London.

we have a penchant to label things... like religion. Indeed we do, but if we leave things as they are, without identifying them, would we even call ourselves Rational Animals?
How's your class in Philosophy sir? I saw you na!

Well, if we follow Him, we can be like Him. I mean in character but not the God power if you ask me.

Now, what may have caused the universe to begin to exist? Whatever this cause may be, it must be something other than the universe because it existed before the universe. Therefore, it must be something that is not material and is not bound by space and time. One philosopher said that there are only two candidates for what this cause may be: it's either an abstract object, like numbers, or a "mind" (for lack of a better word.) But abstract objects are impotent, they cannot cause anything. So it must be a "mind". This is how theists traditionally understand "God" to be -- a being who is immaterial, timeless, changeless, and whose essence is existence; a being who possesses great power (for "it" brought something, the universe which is contingent, out of nothing), intelligence, and free will (for "it", God who is eternal, brought something, the universe which is temporal, into existence).

I'm sure you know that there are other models out there other than the Big Bang, but I think the latter is the one which is generally accepted by the scientific community. I may be wrong (please correct me, anyone), but my impression is that current scientific findings support the standard model more than they do the other models.
    Thanks for the reply Bro,

just wondering: if there is a god, do you think god feels the same way about us, his creations? and if so, why blame the creator for his creations?
