Hetalia's being cancelled, guys.. =___= Some koreans protested against the show because of a character (anthropomorphic representation of Korea) portrayed in an insulting way. Though there is word that the korean character does not appear in the anime, the cancellation is still pushed through, it seems.

I'll have to check other sites for updates of the news, but that's what i've heard.

I haven't read the manga so i can't verify if the representation of the character is indeed insulting. But Gawd, if they protested against a character (who didn't insult their country in any way whatsoever, as what i've heard), then what the heck are they doing wearing nazi suits to make a game known?


They have a warped way of understanding what an insult is then.. @__@

I do hope they bring back Hetalia.. ;___; It's one of the few anime series i've been looking forward to this season..

Haha interesado na nuon ko sa Hetalia Manga. Bad move. Like how the Catholic Church made Da Vinci Code all the more popular by urging people not to watch it.

The prikkin character does not even appear in the anime, why all the fuss?

Yeah, i'm also interested in the manga now that they've canceled the anime. And well, since there's no anime, i might as well just read the manga, for now. :/
But bad move, indeed. xD
I don't think the korean character was presented in a bad light. Not that i have read the manga. But if for them it wasn't funny (so they protested), i don't think wearing Nazi uniform (topless) is funny. :/ It isn't funny, guys. So stop being a hypocrite.
