Bro, u need a hardware card installed to your system that can accept video & audio inputs.
Video inputs can either be RCA (yellow color) type or the S-Video (better than RCA).
Audio inputs are usually RCA (white for left channel & red for right channel).
This hardware card usually has it's own software application to capture the video. Connect your VHS system to their corresponding inputs and run the software.
When you play the VHS, click record on the software. You can set what kind of video format you want (.avi, .mpg, etc. . .) Basta the bigger the recording, the more better is your video & audio capture.
On the fly imo recording (realtime). So from the analog format, na digitize na nimo ang video. That digitized form, sayon na e transfer/burn to DVD format gamit sa Nero or any other DVD recording programs out there sa market.
