160 gb hard disk became 31 gb!

when my pc corrupted, and the MOBO was naguba. i slave the hard disk into another computer,

cus magamit pa xa. i wonder pag check naku sa harddisk 31 gb na man xa that it suppose to

be 160 gb. xa. i am curios if what the cause ngano na ing ato to xa?




but any ways!, kinsay kabalo mo fix ana para mabalik xa 160bg.?

padagani ug checkdisk repair bai. i have a bad feeling na bad sectors na, unrecoverable, sorry.

what brand hdd? ide? check jumper, probably limit cap due sa jumper settings.
goto bios, verify, set hdd setting to auto/autodetect.

if seagate brand nd u wanna set it to slave, default kai no jumpers.

dili kaha na naka NTFS imong hardisk? or basin naka HIDE kana nga partition?

basin partitions to nimo bro na corrupted. reformat cguro na nimo. if naa ka important na mga files there are ways of recovering then but not 100%

yes it could be a bad sector.. try chkdsk or reformat para mabalik sa full capacity imong hdd.
or else, iuli nalang na sa gipalitan..
