The rest of The Darkness are now known as Stone Gods and their sound leans more towards hard rock with heavier guitars than their previous almost hair metal outfit i.e The Darkness

check out their music vid of 'i believe in a thing called love', ki-at kaau.. i preferred them over the other bands at that time (like linkin park & limp bizkit) cause i'm more of a classic rock guy.. & besides i'd always prefer that high pitch falsetto voice for a vocalist.. reminds me of sebastian bach, damn yankees, early axl rose days, sammy hagar (michael anthony),eric martin... that's why i rooted for adam lambert to win AI, i dont mind sexual preferences as long as there's that nice high pitch voice & the guy can sing well.. & there's that comparison w/ regards to 'the darkness' & 'queen' cuz theyre both brits, their costumes, & the classic rock theme..
