What is the essence of Ako Mismo?

I'm just curious. Unsa man jud ang purpose sa kaning Ako Mismo drive?
I've been to their website, nya one should say something that he commits to do to make our country/earth better.
That's a very good idea.

But as what I have observed, no offense to the people here in istorya, it seems that Ako Mismo is being exploited commercially.
Some people are selling Ako Mismo dog tags and tshirts for profit. Naa ko daghan nakit-an sa Carbon namligya ani. Ako Mismo is so popular right now so halin jud kaayo na meaning daku og ginansya.
I dont know where the proceeds goes to by selling those AKO MISMO materials.
Anyone who has the money can buy those stuffs, but are they really into the essence of what AKO MISMO is?
They are wearing tshirts or dogtags but did they commit something that they must do?

Hope the purpose of AKO MISMO dili mabaliwala ra.
Siguro mas nindot before selling those stuffs, the buyer should go to their website and commit something before baligya-an sa item.

yeah i couldnt agree more.. pareho rana sa katong yellow rubber wrist bands from nike. "anti-cancer" daw nga statement pina lance armstrong inspired. i dont know if the proceeds ever went to cancer patients. Same question goes to this one. or is it just another marketing scheme? if so, that wud be ridiculous buying & wearing them for nothing.

i also think its hypocritical to wear those silly things just to be called such & let other people know how "charitable" or "patriotic" i really am. if u wana help people, cancer patients, country, simply send a donation. Buy RP products. Its that simple. (just my opinion)
