    FLASHWAVE II... got it from mark of GIZMO... great item. used it to fire my 430ex II and 580ex II...

    glide1: while the PT04 maybe budget friendly, i have tested these china-made triggers both indoors and outdoors all of them now collecting dust in my studio, i still say that flashwaves is your best bet. it will, in the long run, save you money from buying hard to find batteries and from the frustration of not getting the shot at the right moment because of misfires.

    Just to update this thread. I went with the Yongnuo CTR-301P unit plus an extra reciever. It cost a little over 2t for the setup shipped to cebu.
    Very happy with it so far and no issues with misfiring etc. For a hobbyist photographer like me, it will do just fine.
