i am a newbie on a psp. i am wondering what is the best cfw for a psp 2000? and what is cfw for?
and what is the meaning bout permanent cfw? is there a temporary? and why does it says no need for chickhen? what is chickhen?

bro cfw stands for custom firmware..........naa uban games dli mu run f mubo ra ang custom firm ware......kanang chickHEN mao na xa ang downloader or kana para hack.....usually mao na g gamit sa psp3000 rn..........but dapat ang cfw nmu kay version 5.03 so imo na i update imo cfw kun pa hack ka para mu activate ang chickHEN...HEN stands for Homebrew ENabler........dapat dli ma lapas imo update u psp ug 5.50 kay dli na ma hack ang version 5.50 sa pagka karn....so u must manually update the cfw of ur psp kay f sa wifi ka mag update, they will give u the latest version of 5.5o which is unhackable for nw.....get it?.....

so far. ang most comonly gamit nga cfw karon is ang 5.0 m33-6

permanent cfw means. permanent nah imong firmware... Lol. btaw... that means. kausa rah nimo e load ang imo firmware. dili na xa mawala. permanent nah mapulihan ang imong OFW ( official firmware ) sa sony psp into a CFW. this also means dili chickhen ang gamit.
YES there is a temporary one. that is for the psp 2000 with a 4.01 OFW. and ang latest which is ang psp3000 with a 5.03 OFW and lower. kini nah mga psp, chickhen pah ang gamit.
ang chickhen mao ni ang gamiton para pwede nimo ma sapawan ang imo OFW into a CFW or a CFW enabler. hope this answers all your questions.
