A4Tech X7 G800 - Stupid

Well this keyboard just came into our store. It's the A4Tech X7 G800. It's cheap, its cool and we sell it only at 950. Plenty of stocks here so if you want one you can PM me. It's a rare keyboard we can find in Cebu, so grab one now.....

























WAAAIT, I was messing around with the keyboard and I didn't know this keyboard only works with PS2 Ports! I plugged the keyboard at the USB port only and it didn't work. The USB connector you can find in the keyboard only works as a USB extension. I was expecting this keyboard is awesome, yes it satisfied me but the only downfall of this keyboard is its PS2 connector. Just an advice, if you plan to buy this keyboard, make sure your mobo has a ps2 port or if you don't have any, have a ps2 to usb connector. For me this is a bad rep for A4Tech for still using ps2.

Have you ever saw the new high-end mobos out there? I happen to have a mid-range board that doesn't have a PS2 port. Is my motherboard really a motherboard because it doesn't have a ps/2 port? Lucky me I have a spare ps/2 to usb connector here

It's not going to be a downfall if you're going to troubleshoot on DOS. Unless you really use a very-very high-end keyboard like Steel Series 7G and you wish to troubleshoot a P4 system. That's downfall.

This keyboard is targeted for the gaming market, when most of the gaming rigs out there doesn't have ps/2 ports. So nice try of your argument bro

it's not a downfall? yeah, ur just screwed cuz it's not gonna work under DOS. then ur left with spending extra money for an adapter or getting a PS/2 keyboard.

Yes. The keyboard only works if you plug it in the ps2 port.

And how many people will buy these keyboards anyways? Like what I said and I hope I wont repeat this again and I hope you will hear it loud from me, This Keyboard is targeted for the gaming market.And no bro, I'm not too stupid to make a ps2 keyboard work with dos. In fact, I frequently use a Linux shell(dos for linux) where chances of making this keyboard work is slim, though this keyboard works fine with it. dos are for beginners anyways.

Old tech man ang X7 series nila and probably was never revised. I myself got a bit surprised to find out my X7-G600 still sports a ps/2 port. But at least I got another usb port freed. Sayang lang jud bah? They should at least revise it, if I'm not mistaken their X7 series was their only gaming keyboard series.
