Mahinumdum nako bro just lately... I'm frequent in going to Moalboal kay mangaligo mi ug dagat diha nga lungsod. Sometimes I chat with their locals...little did I know that the Grand Old Man of the Duranos was a patron of their erstwhile mayor and Grand Old man of the reigning town mayor. You can imagine how influential the Duranos were during the time of Marcos. Of course it cannot be denied that the Duranos were sidekicks of Marcos in the Visayas. Labi na sa Cebu.
Kalayo na anang Moaboal but then the power of the Duranos can still reach to that soutwestern part of the island. That was then and this is now. So we will see how the current crop of the Duranos will be kung sila na ang naa sa poder. I have nothing against Ace kay wa gani ko kaila ana niya. But he could be a good leader.
