not all gamers are overclockers.
not all overclockers are avid gamers.
overclockers can be modders.
some overclockers buy expensive stuff just to test how far they can push it until said hardware is destroyed.

Before, Overclockers were gamers. Hardware was bought for gaming by gamers. Now its a totally different scenario. Only a few gamers remain that are overclockers. United pa ang overclocking ug gaming sauna but it broke down. Ive noticed that some overclockers(mostly didn't undergo the gaming period) nowadays buy stuff and overclock stuff not for gaming but for overclocking as if they treat their monster rigs as Racing Cars on a car show.

Bale separated na ang Overclocking and Gaming nowadays. I happen to be one of those Gamers that used to overclock but I chose to completely forget about it as the feud between overclockers and gamers escalated. I remained a gamer up to now, as I find it more fun and enjoying. Just like me, overclockers find overclocking fun and enjoying. It's just a matter of preference kung asa ka maayo ug kung asa ka lingaw

So if we compare gamers and overclockers today to a racing event, overclockers are the guys who fix and tune up the cars while gamers drive the cars that just got fixed and tuned in

hahahaha aron dili one sided ang analogy - to an oc'ers point of view it's different...gamers are not drivers, only crush test dummies to check and balance if set up tweaks have made drastic improvements

I started assembling my rig from scratch, so if my rig fails down on me wala na. Balik na pud ko tigum. But why do I still overclock? As said you'll never know unless you try it for yourself.
