how to format/delete pationed space

hi guys i know im really dump in this stuffs.. im just starting out..
i need your expertise; does any of you know how to format an existing partitioned space?
my comp got sick and i reformated it w xp prof. and created a partition to save my important files. now, i have a problem bcuz i have 2 os ryt now(but clean though) how do i remove/ the os on my other partition? i have tried booting from a: and format c: but to no avail..i also have tried booting from my xp prof. but still windows wont format my c: (im using d: as my defualt and c: my partitioned space [ako untang limpyuhan akong c: para magamit nasad nako pang store back-up files in case of another virus attack] ) can anybody help me here? thanks, id really appreciate it....

just use fdisk from a win98 bootdisk (not the XP)... or partition magic...

dali ra na bro... gamita imo xp pro na disc... last step ana kay delete partition and format the drive... u dnt have to use partition magic or fdisk...

--ive done this na bai, mga middle step mni mo appear b4 mag install sa xp prof. ang akong gi buhat ky ako lng gi pa continue untill ma fnsh og format ang partitioned space sa c: (ky d: mn ako gamit) pro after nako i quit installation (ako mn g open ang drive then->quit install) dli na bitaw na mo boot hinuon... so mao ako nlng gi balik og hman jd ang installation pro mao ghpn dli nko ma clean ang c: nga naay xp home faets ( ang c: ky xp home ang d: ky xp prof. d: ako gamit)

ive tried re installing my drive with my prof sa c: instead.. and milagro ky pag usab nako og format sa drive (this time d: nah) ni format ra cya og iya with no problems at all. i cannot explain... naa sd diay koy gi download nga Ranish Partition Manager Version 2.40.00 and tried formating clearing my c: with this... pro mao lagi na crush napud ang boot sys. (i think ang sys ky na nuon sa C: bisan nag install ko xp prof sa d: [nag libog ko.] )
i've solved the problem nah or did i..? pro im using c: na nuon instead of d: -gamay raman gud ang partition space nko sa c: 10g rah

bai e delete sa tanan partition den f dako2x ka ug hdd pwd 20 or 30 gig imo c: den ang uban partition for ur data e format na nimo inside windows already after ka mag nstall sa imo OS.
