for netbook, this is my choice- HP - Mini Netbook with Intel® Atom™ Processor - Pink Chic - 110-1037NR

for laptop, this is my choice- HP - Pavilion Laptop with Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor - dv4-1435dx

and lastly, can someone explain what is intel atoms disadvantges and advantages?

For a netbook, nindot na ni cya. Pero i think naa nay newer intel atom, which is the N280. And mas nindut pa jud if naay nvidia or ati display adapter para makaplay ka some games and HD movies.

if you want an HP netbook, better wait for the 5101 model...

Atom processors are designed for less power consumption. Meaning longer battery life compared to a traditional processor used by laptops.

if more on graphics imong usage...go for a laptop....
pero if more on word/excel/powerpoint ....pwede ra netbook

advantage sa laptop kay nana built in ang optical drive (cd/cd-rw/dvd/dvd-rw), bigger LCD screen
advantage sa netbook kay ang price cheaper ug lower power consumption
