can anyone help me decide? Laptop or Netbook?

for netbook, this is my choice- HP - Mini Netbook with Intel® Atom™ Processor - Pink Chic - 110-1037NR

for laptop, this is my choice- HP - Pavilion Laptop with Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor - dv4-1435dx

and lastly, can someone explain what is intel atoms disadvantges and advantages?

depende ra sa imong purpose or gamit ...like chatting/internet go for a netbook...
but if ur into games, or more like multitasking go for laptop

intel atom is only 1core compared to core 2 duo....unya dli kaau kusgan

note: dli kaau ko xpert sa laptop/netbook coz im using desktop since i knew about computers....kung naa man gani laptop, dli sad ako, huwam lang...xD

if nahan ka mas nice performance, then go for the laptop, di ka magmahay sa core 2. atom? ayaw na lang, hehehe, unless i-pair with an Ion chipset

yea....atom with ion chipset is a very nice combination...

hulat lang ko ana ion chipset kay i think nvidia 9series ang onboard video ana maka blueray na cguro. ^^,

I dont think its a good idea to go with the ion chipset with an atom cpu. The gpu performance will be bottlenecked by the the slow processor.... better to wait for a faster pairing sa ion... the culv processors are a bit faster pero mahal pa and still not fast enough for games.
