that's why the system needs to change. the old system has proven it's failure over and over again. we need to change and adopt to a new and better system. we are a new breed of citizens, we need a new breed of leaders and a new system that works for us.

Mag Monarchy nalang ta!! hehe btw... On my side it's true we need to change are system, times are changing so ngano mag stick man ta sa daan.. kung ganahan gyd kaayo ta sa daan mornarchy nalang..haha. Though in my personal opinion the system matters very little compared to the people running the system.

I'm at a lost sometimes as to where our country is heading and it's true that in some days I don't bother to think about it. Kay mag labad gyd akong ulo! wala man sad ko plano mag president. I believe and I hope someday someone would lead our country by uniting us first before anything else. Someone who will not talk about our poverty but rather will do something about it. Then someone who would encourage every Pinoy to do his part.

Just my opinion...In the end... I would like to try Federalism!!

well the old system has proven us that TRAPOS are so many and they are unlikely to step down, but if they die of course.

the federal form of government eliminates many of those TRAPOS and would leave a handful instead and thus we can determine who is corrupt and who is not, who is working and who is not.

I beg to disagree. Even if i change pa nato atong system of governance into a federal system, so long as corrupt lang gihapon atong culture sa panggobyerno, wala gyuy mausab ana. As we see now, dili ra biya naa sa Manila or sa national government ang corruption. Daghan biya sad local corruption issues such as lamppost issue, CICC, violations of COA auditing rules in many Cebu municipalities, Capitol's land purchases.

In fact, when I attended one forum, naa gyuy mayor didto nga niingon harap-harapan nga in his municipality he has to dole out money because he has no choice. Kung kana ra gihapon nga kultura mangibabaw even in a federal system, do you think mas ma control ang corruption? Sa akong tan-aw, basin mograbe pa hinuon

We don't need to change the form of government, we need to change our mindset towards government. The form of government is indeed important in creating a good country, but, we must also act as well. We need to keep in mind that, we must not depend too much in our government; Sometimes we need to act on our own, we must start-up, in our own way. If the government can't supply the proper needs of it's nation, then we must start acting on our own; Helping fellow citizens, Providing education to those in need, develop organizations that promotes safe and just judgment.

We must also change our mindset towards life, we must destroy the idea of money and power; Which people associate with success. We must not tolerate part of the medias as well. Media ( In my opinion) sometimes tolerates success, with money, power, and prestige. Maybe you're familiar of a typical story, where an individual's goal is to succeed -- Money,Power,Prestige.

My point? Big things come from little things; If we develop an attitude towards fair and just judgment, then I believe, In a little way, we change. If we change(Little by Little), then I believe it will create a huge amount of change, not only to the government, but to others as well.

I'll go with FEDERAL TYPE OF GOVERNMENT..

dali ma buking ang mga corrupt.
ang tax para sa cebu kay para sa cebu ra jud...
pwede sad 80% of our tax will be used in our province and 10% para sa national and 10% para sa mga tabangonon nga provinces..

kung mao ni mahitabo, DATO CGURO KAAYO ANG CEBU

i would follow like that of singapore. i have a little knowledge bout them but as far as im concern they have a very good government. their laws are well executed so people are disciplined by it, its juz so plain and simple. if you see discipline it somehow signifies good governance. being strict favors the good people but of cors there are limits yet only walay-paki human beings does not like discipline, coz they dont like to be disciplined and thats because they are not law-abiding people and doesnt care at all.
so watever type of government will do as long as there is discipline and it starts with the people. =)
