1st time nako kasugat ani nga problem

bag o pa jud ni nga hardisk..western digital 80gb
after installing the OS windows xp pro..mo restart mana diba
after pag restart mao ni ang mogawas "Error Loading Operating System"

specs

amd athlon 2800+
ecs nforce3

confuse lang ko kay naka install naman ko ani nga set up using
samsung hdd...ok ra man..no probs at all..

Is the old harddisk still in the computer and does it still have an operating system? Is the new disk configured as master?

in which part of the boot process ni mogawas? before POST? basin incorrectly configured drive sa bios

ok ra man iya bios...naka install jud ko og OS sa samsung hdd..
ako naman gud ilisan og 80gb nga hdd..tapos ang 40gb kay
ibalhin nako sa lain nga unit..

is that a clean install? sa new hd?... it could be na ang "error loading operating system" is BIOS generated. it cant detect any OS installed....

try daw reformat ang WD hdd nimo bro, then e reset ang boot sector, then have a clean install dayon.
