    Test Lead/ Manager

    MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsible for Quality Management and Testing of all software deliveries done from Singapore development team (20+), primarily high performance / low latency software components and system within electronic trading framework (pricing, analytics, execution venue connectivity, market data and trade feeds) and post trade feed and blotter systems
    Responsible for building out QMT function; this includes line managing the QMT team (currently 2), driving testing strategy and processes
    Responsible for implementing front to back testing automation for all systems
    Participate in project requirements analysis and technical design reviews from QA perspective
    Produce QA deliverables such as test plan document, test cases and scripts
    Coordinate with development team in setting up test environments and other configurations needed to start test execution.
    Deliver and execute test cases and report through a defect management tool for resolution and tracking. Ensure that the test execution runs according to plan.
    Participate in defect review meetings with project team
    Adhere to SDLC standards and ensure that all QA deliverables are checked in and approved
    Reports to regional head or PM of FX & Rates IT


    REQUIREMENTS:
    5 years of demonstrable software quality management and structured testing lifecycle experience
    Previous experience of setting up and running a QA function
    Demonstrable track record of successful QA delivery
    Demonstrable track record of successful automation of testing and quality assurance automation
    Solid understanding of different testing types and regimes
    In depth knowledge of at least 1 GUI testing automation tool
    Knowledge of SQL and at least one shell scripting language
    Knowledge of investment banking / financial markets desired
    In depth knowledge of at least one OS
    Proficiency in MS Office tools and application (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)

    1. CV do's and dont's
    DO give a detailed description of your JOB dna sa PH- but ayaw sad tawn sobra ka detailed, always bear in mind na kaming mga recruiters gadali mi pirmi kay among mga amo ngAPONG ra sa outlook nila, nghulat sa RESUMEs na among na send sa client, payts na ang 2 pager na resume, kung 3 pager oks ra pud (basta ba nitaas xa tungod kay nindot imo profile and dli kay hopper ka.)
    DONT pattern your resume sa JOB posting na amo oibutang, gamayng TWEAKING oks ra... but kanang karn na posting kani na CV ninyo among makuha niya next kay lahi na sad.. hala lahi rana... later ill explain the implications....
    DONT put so much ART sad sa CV.. kanang naay graphics graphics, HAGU na, la man mi nangita ug ma best in ART
    Prefered format: Career History- Education- Certifications- etc... Kung ako inyo ma recruiter dnhi (kung desktop Engineer, Helpdesk Engineer, Wintel Admin) ako man iedit ang CV para HAPSAY xa tanawn and d maglabad ang ulo sa client; kay kung labad na... good luck.

    2. MOM- Employment Pass/ Spass/ Work Permit Details
    sa Foreigners dni sa SG specifically Filpinos SPASS ra and EPASS pwede; DLI ta pwede WORK PERMIT.
    Minimum salary dni sa Filipino Foreigners is Sgd 1,800 (though naa juy uban agencies mu mugi2x; hatagan mo gamay but ang ideclare sa MOM o Ministry of manpower kay dako pag SPASS o Epass.
    Spass- generally 1.8 K – 2.5 K Sgd
    Epass- 2.5K Sgd UP; though mu matter jud japon ang CREDENTIALS (years of experience, school etc), so to stress Dli tanan 2.5 below Spass;
    Spass- mura xag Long term na Visit Pass; 1 year naa na xa gibutang sa imo Pass
    And Epass o Employment Pass- pwede ka kuha ug dependent ang employee

    3. E/SPass Application- Approval
    If naa nmuy JOB na nakuha, applyan mo sa inyong employer ug Pass
    sa MOM standards 0-2 weeks na xa ang ONLINE application; naa gani times ORAS ra approve na.
    In case ma DECLINED imo application; Naay APPEAL na gitawag kana dugay na maximum of 3 weeks ang waiting time

    once APPROVED imo Pass application:
    Hatagan ka ug IPA or In Principle Approval
    Mg pa medical Check up ka (50-100 Sgd)
    After that muadto ka sa MOM para iprocess imo Pass
    If Spass adto ka MOM pakita imo Credentials (Original copies) dayun adto dayun sa WDA; workforce development Authority para process sa imo SPAss Card
    If Epass- adto ka MOM ra; sila na tanan mubuhat ddto

    usually 1-2 hours ra ni nmu buhaton; alay taas na linya dni sa mga government Offices sa SG
    For Spass- tgaaan ka nila temp pass in lieu of your DISEMBARKATION Card; pwede na dayn ka start ug work; kuhaon nmu imo Pass after 1 week sa WDA ghapon
    In Principle basta naa nakay Pass Pwede nka ka start ug WORK

    4.Implications sa LAHI LAHI na CV
    - pinaka importante; ayaw lahi lahia inyong Profile kay:
    a.Ma SANGIT mo sa MOM
    b.kung naay lain agency ng apply ninyo niya applyan sad mo sa lain niya lahi lahi inyong CV o Profile; Dako kaayo ang possibility na DLI mo ma hatagan ug PASS
    c.Kung itweak sa recruiter inyong mga CV; pangayo ug copy; just in case mubalhin mo dli mo maipit sa recruiter kay muresign mo. Also, para sad lay problema sa PASS application, dapat tanan PAREHA, CONSISTENT para lay gubot.

    5. Extras
    important dni ang DIPLOMA o DEGREE HOLDER ka mao nay main basehan sa approval sa Pass
    EXPERIENCE sad; pinkaimportante
    Certifications Kung naa
    Andama daan inyong ORIGINAL Certificates para lay Blema

    kung sa OIL and GAS... ambot ra jud akong matubag... dli man au ko familiar ana na field... kay sa IT man ko... amo man gud ron ginasupport kay system integrators, banks and uban pa companies na government related ang work.. (Mao may pwede ma support karn; kay ang mga projects dni karn sa gobyreno... thus LOCALS sad jud ang ginapangita...


    sa tanan ng MAAM nako... 24 pa intawn ko... tawga na lng kod dai... hehehhe:P
