he is "steady" (my cousin named it due to he has amazing steadiness sometimes^^)
i think this is an eclectus parrot
he was left by her wife few years back, sad to say. her wife died seemed due to the odor of cooked dried fish. lo-oy kaayo kay iya ra gituparan pag buntag nga ni tuskig niyang asawa samtang nagbarog silang duha og nagdikitay. wala pod matagak or matumba ang iyang asawa samtang ni tuskig na. i was the one who did feed that early morning when i saw it, very sad. pwede na e apil sa maala-ala mo kaya.
we had also rare breed of pair cockatails but died(i forgot the type why its called rare)
we had also big pair of "kalaw"(from chicks raised till young adult) and a local parrot chicks from leyte. the kalaw died when i gave it to my cousin(although they took care of the pair very well but still didn't last long). the local parrot chicks grew up to young adult( lingaw kaayo mig padako adto kay murag mig mga amahan sa ako cousin^^, nindot ang pamati og pwerte ka paraygun kay murag gi treat mi og ilang parents dyud; malipay sila og maglayat2x basta ako na kuhaon og e pa patung sa akong bukton para mo kaon; humot kaayog gatas labi na ang ulo kay kusog mo kaon og pan+gatas; cge lang ko'g kiss sa ulo taga pakaon kay mag pakiss man pod^^) but still died due to neighbors' dried fish cooking^^, sayang dyud.
You have very nice birds @chipmunk888. Luoy and sayang gyud kaayo tong imo female eclectus. The rare cockatiel you mentioned "maybe" is the fallow mutation tingali. It's not of white(albino) and yellow(lutino) color but with red eyes. Kalaws, we also have that here in our place. Medyo saba lang ni cya and it's big too. BTW, where in Leyte did you get your pair of Kalaws. Thanks for sharing some pics of your birds with us. Good day....
