First Rock N' Run set August 16

CEBU, Philippines - Music and running will be mixed together with the staging of the first Rock N’ Run on August 16 at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) in Mandaue City.
Over 2,000 fitness buffs are expected to see action in the event. An aerobics exercise will be done to warm up and cool down the participants. Cebu’s popular Stagecrew band will also perform to energize the participants prior to the race proper.
Cebu Health and Wellness Council chairman Engr. Oscar Tuason and Spa and Wellness Association of Cebu president Johnie Lim said they are holding the event as another way of promoting medical and health tourism in Cebu.
The competition features three race lengths - 10, 5 and 3-kilometer run for both the men and women’s divisions.
Cash prizes and medals await the top 10 finishers of the race presented by the CHWCI, SWAC, Cebu Provincial Government, Department of Tourism and sponsored by Parklane International Hotel, M. Lhuillier, Nature’s Spring, Placenta, AXA, Energy FM, Convergys, Sunstar, Globe, Julie’s Bakeshop, Monde Nissin Corporation, Tampico, Cebu Dried Mangoes, and Radical Ads along with Alibyo Botique Spa, the SPA at Cebu, Grand Royale Spa (BTC), Holiday Gym and Spa, Coach Pacquiao Wellness Center,and Langkawi Discovery Spa.
“This is an ambitious project, but we hope to institutionalize it by making it as an annual event to further promote healthy lifestyle,” Lim said.
Registration forms are available at the Body and Soul outlets, The Spa at Cebu, Coach Pacquiao Wellness Center, Langkawi Discovery Spa, Holiday Gym and Spa, DTI, Casa Ilongga at Robinson’s Place, Alibyo Botique Spa, Grand Royale Spa, and Cebu City Sports Center. ang singlet dili dayon na makuha, basin friday pana makuha. dad-a lang resibo.

4th edition sa CDU Run mosikad karong Aug. 23

CEBU, Philippines - Ang 4th edition sa Cebu Doctors' University Run mosikad karong Agosto 23 diha sa Cebu Doctors' University (CDU) Mandaue Campus.
Kapin sa 5,000 ka runners ang nidagan sa miaging tuig nga lumba nga adunay tulo ka kategoriya -- 3K, 5K ug 10K run.
Mga kategoriya nga tigian mao ang open, doctors, CDU employees ug mga tinun-an.
Aduna kini registration fee nga P200 libre na ang singlet ug SunCell sim pack.
Ang mga entry forms sa maong lumba nga gipasiugdahan sa Run For Sight ug Larrazabal Eye, makuha sa CDU Sappro office ug sa Cebu City Sports Center. (BANAT NEWS)

naka register na ko. kuha dayon ang singlet pero wala pa race number. ang 10k ra naay race number. kta ta ninyo karon sunday!
