static or dynamic IP mao ra ang performance sa network. ang advantage lng sa dynamic kay iya manageability. dili na ka mag type type pa ug IP add kada workstation. pero kung na kay personal web server or any other servers sa imo LAN mao na imo gyod i static. ang mga workstation static or dynamic dpende lng sa imo pag manage.

if you need to access your pc or network remotely go for static, dynamic is ideal for large networks wherein managing ip address can be very tedious.

what do you exactly need the static i.p. for?
since globelines offers static for P800 a month ata then free na pag business plan.

need like, will you be using it as http server(web server), file server, etc..

you may want to use no-i.p. (DUHC) if you want to save for a dynamic domain pointer to your box.

yes there is, let me clarify.. 384kbps, 768kbps, 2mbps plans you need to add P800 a month for a static i.p.

the 4,995 a month which is a multi user 2mbps free na ang static upon request.

i was on 384kbps before in which wanted to have that add-on static i.p. however its just to expensive for a monthly charge(P500 pa noong last year)

I forgot the software I used (freeware and free-service) but I got a Static IP provided by the said service with the pointer from on my PC which has dynamic IP. Each time I my dynamic IP changes (when I reboot the modem or something else), the proggy updates the pointer so that <current dynamic IP = static IP provided by free-service).

Forgot the google keywords I used. But the servie I used works both for Windows and Linux. Not sure if they had a Mac client.
