Chris is like the imitation of Bo Bice...only, bald hehehe....It has something to do with the mic stand, I guess.

my top favorites are:

taylor hicks- i'm pretty sure he's gonna sail thru to top 3. he's going to be a new flavor to american idol line of winners if he wins.

katharine mcphee- she never fails to impress me (and the judges, of course). has a little bit of kelly clarkson style.

chris daughtry- i dont really like the "rock" thingy, but geesh, he can really pull off on the stage. he's a pro.

kellie pickler- i dont like her singing vocal range. but talking about personality wise, she's more than likable. she has more likability factor than anyone in the competition. but she's not going to be the winner. i would bet that.

Mandisa - quoted from simon cowell, "every girl in this competition is going to hate your guts". quoted from stevie wonder, "she can definitely sing any song". she reminds me of aretha franklin. great vocal range so far!

Elliot Yamin - what more can i say but he's soooo good!

Taylor's dancing?... Sorry sa iyang fans. I don't hate him, I just don't like his performances but he can definitely sing.

I'm a fan of Taylor but slowly he will be swallowed by the voices of Mandisa and Katharine. If he won't be choosing the right songs definitely he will fall.

Kelly is just part of her facade to give the impression that she is innocent and she's nervous and not so confident but the fact is, it is the other way around. Nagpatanga^ tanga^ lang na sya oi. hehehe

Ace is inconsistent. Sometimes ok sometimes dili pud ok.

My faves are:

1) Mandisa
2) Katharine Mcphee (my crush)
3) Chris

Paris is good but she's inconsistent also. Over confident pud basig mao say iyang kahagbungan.

Elliot is ok but there's no star factor on his personality. He will be most likely swallowed by the likes of Chris which possessess a distinct personality and the other people above that I mentioned.

i agree with your top 3. they're the strongest contenders. and i would say almost by a mile. i bet simon has the same in his mind.

i like mandisa... great vocal range, a good performer

chris is good too but no versatility... rock ra pirmi kantahan coz he knows that's what he's good at...

katherine has a great voice but she lacks the ability to emote when she sings...

taylor is more of a performer than a singer...

paris has a great voice too but not as good as mandisa....
