Answering the question of whether love comes from the heart or the mind is no simple task. To begin with, you have to identify what type of love you are interested in learning more about. Is it love at first sight or sudden infatuation that you are identifying as love or lasting love, love that survives through a great deal of trials and tribulations for a significant amount of time? Is the love we are talking about love for significant unrelated other, or a family member, child, pet, object, or idea.
It's important to ask the question, "Is this love the result of a deep connection of some sort or a fleeting thought?" The answer to that question is likely to give you a pretty good idea of where a certain love may be coming from.
