What will be the perfect DSLR Camera for a NEWBIE like ME?? HELP

thanks to kenrockwell's site.....naka enlighten ko gamay karon...that's why my entry level dslr was a 2nd hand eos 350d, big thanks to Big_al.....concentrate lng ko ug invest sa mga high-end lenses and filters ky dugay man jud na cila maluma...30k to 40k initial investment is enough to have an ultra-wide shots....ako lng advise pud pocket wise...invest more on hi-end lens....6 to 8MP is enough for an entry level dslr

Buy the BEST you can AFFORD. If you can afford a Nikon D3x or a Canon 5D Mark II or Canon 1D Mark III etc... get those... newbie or not, get the best possible.

you can drop by Pixel Pro as they also carry Olympus but stocks are not as many as Nikon and Canon. What particular Oly DSLR you are considering? let me know, and i can help you source out all the way up to the marketing guys of Oly.

my piece of advise also is be aware when someone would tell you to go for that brand because they have the most number of supporting lenses. The thing is, unless millionaire ka, mapalit nimo tanan supporting lenses ana'ng camera brand. mao gyud na mostly ako madung-gan, "kini nga brand C kay daghan kaayo ang klase sa ila mga lens compared to this brands N & O" and also be wise enough pud and think what u really need kay u might also end up going for the more expensive models kay ganahan ka because its has this features na wala sa uban and yet you might end up not even utilising or needing this certain feature that your paying more for unless gamay ra gyud price difference

DSLR nowadays with these features u might think over:
-video mode
-tilting/lrotating LCD display
-live view (mostly standard to most brands/models nowadays)
-see thru or xray mode (sees thru dresses..heheh)

if these features really prove useful to you and not just wanting to have a camera sooo "hightech" sounding over the others then go for it.

or if you cant decide if these features are gonna be necesaary to you but gamay ra price difference then go for it

also be practical and think twice...if not, thrice---if your really into photography and not just for sheer feeling of having one---pang choi2x, astig, cool. Can you still picture yourself out snapping pictures in the next 4 to 10 years?

Last but not the least….if you have that extra money to burn pleasurably, then by all means, knock yourself out, go on a camera splurge and enjoy!!!
