if im not mistaken, THE MARCELO FERNAN BRIDGE is the longest bridge in the world under its category.

it was named as "The World's Longest Centre Span Extra Dosed Cable Stayed Bridge" in the Guinness Book. i am not sure if naa nay nka labaw na ani...

kaning Cebu-Bohol bridge proposal nga mo stretch ug 90-km, dili man cguro ni cya continuous nga puro cable-stayed bridge sama sa Marcelo Fernan ug old bridge. if i'm not mikstaken, somebody here said mo connect ni sa mga isla in between Cebu and Bohol. so that means naay portion nga cable-stayed, naay portion nga viaduct, and perhaps naa poy portion nga road lang.

kadtong usa sa pinakataas nga bridge sa world called Hangzhou Bay Bridge in China spans a length of 35.673 kms with 6 expressway lanes in two directions. that means 3 lanes on one side and another 3 lanes on the opposite side. But i think the plan for Cebu-Bohol bridge is only 4 lanes: 2 lanes on each side.
