2009 Cebu Inter Auto Club Meet
“Driving the Green Lifestyle”


As we Celebrate the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 40th anniversary, the Mandaue City's foundation day and the Cebu province’s 440th founding anniversary this August one of the main events for the Mandaue Business Month will be the 2009 Cebu Inter Auto Club Meet in its 2nd year - Harder, Better, Stronger, Faster, Greener!

Thirteen (13) car clubs, Thirteen (13) Automotive Dealerships and special out of town automotive enthusiasts will give you one of the best automotive show in the Philippines. The Cebu Inter Auto Club Meet will be held on August 22-23, 2009 at the CICC Grounds.

Folks, we will not only showcase cars but have organized activities to help the community. It was important for all of us automotive enthusiasts to think of helping in some way. Just to name a few activities we will be having:

All Car Clubs will join a Tree Planting Event - August 8
Balik-Baterya Program - In partnership with Motolite, Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry and The Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP). Cleaner Environment (Proper waste disposal), Better Learning ( Help Improve Educations in Many Public Schools ) which will give us a Brighter Future.
Econo-Run - Partnering with PLDT, all car clubs will engage in a fun adventure to see who drives efficiently to promote driving using less gas, the right way of driving. We will use PLDT's fast track service to give us real-time monitoring of vehicles and how one drives.
Seminars on the day of show - To Promote Driving Safety and Emission
Fellowship Amongst Motorist - Holding Inter Club Activities to help build a better community amongst motorist

We are making this event in such a way for everyone to enjoy. One of the highlights of the show gives people a chance who are in the market for new cars experience a once in a lifetime treat. Not only do you get a chance to drive all 13 cars from dealerships to compare but also get lower rates from both Car Dealerships and Union Banks discounted rates only for this event. So folks, if you are shopping for a new car I suggest waiting till August 22-23

In closing id like to leave people with this thought, it’s going to be fun for everyone; the atmosphere will be like a cookout/car show, good for the family. We will have contests - Photo Contests (for photo enthusiast), Sound offs, Barbecue Contests and much more....

Good Day all,

We would like to invite you to the first 2009 Cebu Inter Auto Club Meet Photo Contest, 13 car clubs with over 100 cars on this 2 day event. Contest is open to all who love photography , Special Prizes and Cash Prize await the winners

When: August 22, 2009
Where: CICC grounds
Time: 2pm (For on site registration you can register as early as 1pm )

Official Contest Rules and Guidelines:

- Registration Starts Now all the way to the 22nd - You can either PM me or register on the day itself
First 50 participants are free , anyone over 50 has a P50 registration fee

- We will have a booth were all participants can register on the day and submit photos for contest

Rules:

* One entry per photographer
* Photos need to be relevant to the this years theme - "Driving the Green Lifestyle" or Green
* Photos need to be in .JPG format
* No Post Processing permitted, entries shall be submitted straight from the memory cards.
* Submit entry with your full name and complete flicker or multiply URL
* Deadline for submission of entries will be August 22, 2009 at 6pm
* Decision of the judges shall be final
* Judging of the Photo Contest will be during the next day where photo entries will be exhibited on site
* Announcement of winner will be on August 23, 2009 the next day of Club Meet
* Failure to comply will be grounds for automatic disqualification.
* Additional Terms and Conditions: 2009 Cebu Inter Auto Club Meet Committee assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part of contest

Photographer grants 2009 Cebu Inter Auto Club Meet rights to exhibit photos. Although Photographer retains the rights to their images.
