Oh i see. Will he be playing as an import then? i have always wondered why Alex did not strut his stuff in the PBA.....so that's the reason.

alex will be too small to be an import.. imports usually stands around 6'4 or 6'7 alex is just a shade around 6'0. but i guess welcoat is requesting the pba board so that they can form a "competetive" team. other option is for alex to join the pba draft wherein he could end up on another team..-

lisod nga mahimong import c compton oi..... maski man gani to c chris clay hu once played for laguna lakers sa MBA ni dula as import sa sta lucia, wala man nanimaho.... kung adto nuon c compton sa welcoat, bitaw, ma lig-on cla gamay inig sulod nila.... murag ang fedex rman guro ang nisulod nga dili kaau lig-on pag start.... unlike sta lucia and tanduay....

c compton is a pureblood american pero he was born in pinas.
ang naka nindot lang nya is he speaks tagalog and another filipino native language.. limot ko unsa to..
and c alex sad kai dunai good working ethics and a moral person.

i think alex can play cuz, sa history sa pba. duna naman 2 ka pure ka americans na naka play na sa una pa..late 70's man cguro to..

and kaduha na ni apply og draft c alex then, ge pending lang tungod man gud sa kaso sa mga fil-shams.. and next draft wala pa ni apply c alex..

and also alex is not from welcoat. he is from montanya.. e trade pana xa pra ma angkon sa welcoat ang ryts

pero i think he can play jud ba... tiguwang nasad bya xa noh.. i guess in his 30's na xa.. around 32 man cguro..

no offense, i've been watching the pba since grade 3, and now i find it boring, especially if pure blooded filipinos will play. same game play, same moves.. unlike you mix them up with some fil-ams or imports, there's thrill

compton wont make that big in the PBA i guess. he's old compare to other players although he's still competitive. he cant keep up with guys like alapag, helterbrand and even artadi in foot race

why not? alex is more Filipino than the other Fil-Ams in the PBA, i think he has proven himself to be an asset to Philippine Basketball..besides his story is a source of inspiration...he always dream of playing in the pro league and despite the many and uncountable critics to his entrance to the PBA, he stayed here and played on....
besides, he's a good shooter...y not give the guy a chance?
