i have a girl bestfriend, 14 years na mi, eversince grade 4, though we don't see each other often kay naa na work lagi, she's still the bestest, hehehe.

my boy bestfriend is my bf, sa iyahang side 3 years of platonic friendship (mas daghan pa times nga nagsuroy mi along with the barkada, of course, than the times nga nagdate mi with my then bf, basta mag-away mi sa akong bf, kung mag-breakup kabalo jud sya kay adto man ko sa ilang boarding house maghilakhilak), 2 years of not so platonic na (3+2=5)
on my side, 4 years nga platonic, 1 year not so platonic (4+1=5)
mao na after 5 years, year 2004 kami na jud intawn

i've had the very best of friends but just not that one companion you share almost everything to. the closest thing i ever had of having a bestfriend was when i had my first bf. it was a long term relationship man gud pud; muna siguro. yes, i think it would be great if your partner in life is your bestfriend too. he/she doesn't necessarily have to be your bestfriend since highschool or college, just that the two of you became bestfriends since you came to be, i think that could be such a sweet thing.
