really? how come they're not informing the people. this is a democratic country but i wonder why the people are not given the right to know. i pity those students who will have to suffer ROTC if in case it will be reinstated or approved back in the college curricula. it may be helpful to some who have interest in the military but it will prove a waste of time, money and effort for those who have no inch of interest about it.
yes, only NBN channel aired that news. GMA, ABS and other network walang news. Ehems ani oy kay looy ang mga college student ron.

I've watched "Game Ka Na Ba" game show of Kris Aquino yesterday. She said, the men/women officials of ROTC are asking congress to return the ROTC sa college as compulsery. If this happens looy ang mga college student ron. Im sure magiging abusive lang gihapon na ang mga hig ranks ug magiging rampant napud ang corruption within ROTC.

ROTC to be implemented again is another burden to anyone..aside from the blatant corruption inside this entity, it suppresses more our rights as students. one of the reasons why ROTC will be implemented is to curtail our rights and spy on the student activists who are militant on the anti-people policy of the government, and militant on the anti-student policy of the universities and colleges in the country...

this is one if the strategy of the arroyo govt. to curtail the rights of the people, especially those who are critical against her..

sigi kog kabagsak aning ROTC... ni pasar ko pag kuha nakog CWS (2 semesters) and I really learned a lot about reality in life... including religion and faith... kay ang naghandle namo sa TC mga ReEd teachers ug ang among kina-lideran si Fr. Max Abalus. gi-sulod namo ang mg squatters area sa mantuyong mandaue ug gi utingkay namo ang lumolupyo sa smokey mountain sa talisay or pardo ba to.
nag 3 days 2 nights stay mi sa may talisay (usc owned na murag retreat house) ---- gawas nga lingaw didto namo makat-onan ang panaghi-usa kay after several years naa pa mi hangover sa among CWS experience... maghangop mi basta magkita mi sa among kagrupo... until such time na nakalimot na sad mi sa among mga dagway kay nagkagwapo na man mi karon. LOL
yes to CWS ko.... at least bisan tuod dili military among training pero kinasing-kasing ug makatandog sa balatian ang among gibuhat sa paghatag ug pagtabang sa kabus natong mga igsoon dinhi sa atong palibot....

When i visit in Israel, i notice most of their borders soldiers are teenagers

so what i learn is that, Every Highschool gradute in Israel must serve the ARMY Girls-2yrs Boys-3yrs
and every citizen must serve the army every year once a month ( if u are a Mossad)

I kinda like this system, they also got complete gears and ammunition and all 18yr soldiers know how to hanndle a M4 Carbine

@ KOTO ... bisan ang US Army n Marines knows how to handle M16's , M14's , M1's and 1911's unya uban as young as 17 years old pa gyud . The Israelites did this for a reason na cumpolsury ka mo serve sa armed forces . Ived met a couple of 20 year olds na killing machines na . Israel doesnt have a special forces team because all of them are special forces . Daghan man cla ontra na neighboring countries mao no choice sila but to be ready at all cost , even the Israel pilots are way better than US Fighter pilots in dogfights .

But again .... ROTC LIFE is totally different sa real MILITARY LIFE .
