forgive me ha... pero simple ra man gud ko og pangotok, pero kung each individual mao ang nagdala para ang society would be the better place, what is the use of the government? what is the use of my taxes?

    can you elaborate?

I just compare it to the Gawad Kalinga communities nga ang mga taw malipayon og na enganyo sila to persevere. Why can't have this programs from the government?

That wasn't an insult (note the okay).

I understand that you have a point. But you're dragging all your examples to the point that it was GMA's fault. Be fair naman with your views. Give credit to where credit is due.

why? just because we pay taxes we expect everything from the government in a golden platter? ... way kalainan ni nga attitude sa akoang lola mga 40 years ago: mohatag ug dako nga limos sa namatyan kay ga-expect nga imbitahon inig quaranta dias kay dunay bangkete sa balay sa namatyan .. seriously, our right attitudes can help this government carry its duties which will in turn facilitate everything for the good of the society .. if we are honest in paying our taxes, even the government can very well function and provide the well-needed programs wherein the filipino society will be beneficiary bro ... this government has set goals ... but how can this government proceed and reach these goals if the opposition would want them to fail so that they can have reasons to blame the president or if even the citizenry would not support its programs and instead offers a cold shoulder or not become pro-active ..?

if we are honest about paying our taxes - the government should be honest in spending this.

i also agree that the government and the people should work hand in hand... but how can you inspire the people if you see the government to be corrupt?

In war, how can you lead your people to the battleground if you are shaking out of fear. Since the case here is most of the Filipinos are lazy and are uninspired, then I can say something is wrong with the leadership.
