very nice project....
we hope naay mga politician from cebu and bohol maka lingkod sa senado aron ma paspas ang maong project......
pareha sa mactan bridge ug marcelo fernan bridge effort gyud sa mga cebuano senators pag paspas sa project.
Ok lang ug naay toll. That's how business work. Bisan ako ug gusto ko moadto ug Bohol nga mag dala ko ug akong sakyanan, I'm willing to pay. This project is quite ambitious.
kanang naa sa tunga bah murag anha agi ang barko, right? ky i think there will also be cable-stayed sections to allow for the passage of large ships...
and i think some here are correct in saying that the proposed bridge could be a combination of cable-stayed portions and viaducts, like islands that would then be linked by a series of bridges.

can't wait driving from cebu to bohol..kanindut ani oi.ang next project ani, bato-dumaguete..hehehe
wow. ka nindot ani oi. mayta mahinayon para ma ka adto na jud ko ug bohol!!!!
The bridge will facilitate trades between the 2 provinces, and thus, will boost the economy. It will also attract more tourists both local and foreign.
Hopefully this will not just be another scorecard - palami sa mga current officials seeking re-election for next year's poll.
nindot ni dah. hapit na jud mahimo ang one visayas with these bridges. i wonder lang of what will happen to the crafts/boats plying the cebu-bohol route...
Fact: The bridge-chain is planned to originate from Cordova, Mactan Island, to Jetafe, Bohol. Taking a look at Google Earth...
...the initial assumptions that the bridge will hop from islet to islet from Cordova, to reach Jetafe, is indeed the most likely possibility. Furthermore, the aerial distance between Cordova and Jetafe is only about 25 kilometers. Since the bridge-chain will be 90 kilometers long, klaro again nga it will be passing by those islands/islets between Mactan and Bohol. Which brings us to another fact.
Fact: Along these island chains lie precious coral reefs.
So I guess you guys are more excited about the economic benefits of having such a bridge, than concerned about the environmental impact of such a huge project. But heck, it's your province/island, not mine. I guess you can do whatever you want to do with it, for the sake of progress.

Good point raised, The Environmental Impact.
Despite, I am in still in favor of the construction of the bridge but environmental issue must be properly addressed to minimize impact.
