Update: moz sent me the excel file, and I was able to produce this graph...

Interestingly enough, the AoE (obscurity) line is like a "sagging rope"

Thanks again moz_k2, I'm indebted You ROCK!

New challenge for the circle area problem--what if the overlapping circle has a variable radius? How do we modify the formula?

I have already tried doing that and the result is just the same.
I tried doubling the current radius and the
and the current MoE 100 whose AoE 100 gets down to AoE 39.1

Well I meant if both circles are of unequal radii. For example, what if the circle that overlaps has a smaller radius than the circle its covering?

    That would quite challenging.
Since the distance to the radical line is different for two circle.
I already have the formula in my mind, pero ambot kung sakto ba ni.
I'll post it later, kung dli na busy

i was expecting it to be a single formula not a computer program.

I think this will work. I have already verified using Numerical Integration Utility . The results seems consistent with your excell results.

I have not done any integration in about 7 years so im a bit rusty and may take a while for me to simplify the equation above.

To verify the results, i used the following parameters:

    f(x) = sqrt(10^2 - x^2) * 4 (100) / (3.14 * 10 ^2)
    Left-end-point: 5
    Right-end-point: 10
    Number of subdivision: 1000

    Result: 39.1472173391

This is how i got to the equation i posted

Now i have to take a refresher course in Intergral Calculus to simplify that. Should be fun though solve the integral.
