Teodoro said a top-of-the-line attack helicopter presently costs around $83 million, or about P3.7 billion.

$83-M for one helicopter? Mahal diay kaayo ang gi kubra para sa Cobra.

Quoted replacement cost for one AH-1W Super Cobra is $10-M. Naa pa na additional para sa parts, training and support cost as well as armament, pero di man tingali ma abot ug $83-M per unit. Sec. Teodoro was probably misquoted in that report...

I say we need them, now that NoKor is already being provocative and China is already pressing it's Hard Power. We can stabilize the southern territory but what if sometime we are the ones being occupied? Among all the U.S allies we are the most uncompetitive. This is not good, the officials are borrowing so much but a needle head of this goes to the AFP. We're not just fightin bandits here, these are Al-Queda linked separatist groups, if the U.S itself got a hard time hunting them................ how about us?
we are fighting against insurgency not external threats. Fighters are not the air force's immediate need
