Yeah theres a lot of alternative ways but how can u be effective in other ways when u haven't prove yourself sa inyu simple ways, ways that u said only for people that cannot cope up sa life.

I think bisag unsa na path atu i choose, we should follow some rules bisag di natu gusto kay mao man nah systema sa kalibutan, ang point is if di tah ka follow sa gi ingun natu nga simple rules, unsay kasiguruan nga maka follow tah sa lain rules?

    Peace...
I agree with u ma man , an organize society always have rules to follow. even on this site,.
just like a country at war - if they are in need of soldiers to go to war. you cant' say no.

just like in our church they need missionaries( soldiers of the word of god to be spread around the world) and serve for two years. but for me as a person . its nit necessary that u have to under go a millitary training(missionary experience) to be better. Theres absolutely a lot of ways to be better . to urself , family and country.

religion is one of them , there absolutely lot of ways to be better other than religion. but religion can be compared to school. while the other way i was imposing can be compared to a self-studying indinidual. no need of a teacher(god) to discipline . no need of grade, to pass or fail( heaven or heal) . becase this can only be done to beings who are concious enough on the consequence of their actions. All we need are knowledge , wisdom, mentors , great teachers and motivational speakers.
A person who self study life, knows he should study and understand bec. it's the measure of his success. on the otherhand a student(religion) can be only on grades , disregarding if he cheated or not. in times of his carreer . he will be insuccessful bec of less knowledge... which most people now are experiencing. morelikely thats the difference of an atheist.

there are only 2 types of building : Temple and Chappel

2 temples now in Phil .

sa cebu daghan chappel. naa sa sikatuna , lahug , arlington(fuente), talisay , pardo, minglanilla, mandaue, and Tres de Abril (under const.)

in every chappel adto musimba ang mga duol nga nagpuyo. ang tga basak gitawag clag basak ward. adto cla mosimba sa pardo chapel kay mao may duol. same as labangon ward (but not for long kay naa na bag-o gitukod),

means every ward is a baranggay. and in every chappel there are 2-3 ward will use it in scheduled time.

    Pray.

I knew that God exists and that He answers prayers. I would just ask Him if Joseph Smith really was His prophet or not. I know that if I asked in faith really wanting to know and really seeking for an answer then I thought He won't let me down. Because that's what He's promised us. 'Ask and ye shall receive'.

That is what I can advice also to others who are genuinely seeking for the truth. The LDS missionaries can give you evidence of the truthfulness of our doctrine and of the church but it's still up to you to find it out for yourself. And that is through prayer. Ask God if the things that they tell you are true. That is the only way to really know.
Thank you maddox22 for participating on the discussion. You speak with knowledge and are very sensible. I am now enlightened on the matter. It has taken approx 18years before naka sabot ko sa inyo doctrine. All my life, maski katong kids pa mi, i would often wonder what you guys stand for. Now I know, and i admire all of you for your discipline.

Na touch lang ko sa imo gi sulti nga "you were only left with one thing to do which is to Pray." Mo tuo jud ko ana... So many things can be discovered in prayer that you otherwise will not learn anywhere else. God speaks to our hearts if only we listen. God bless everyone on this thread and on istorya.

    @ maddoxx22 and cromagnon

I have a question. I am interested to know more about this religion at this point in time because there's this guy I am interested in and he is from Salt Lake City.

We Catholics have the Holy Rosary, the Holy Mass, Novenas and other prayer methods as well. Ako question is, unsaon ninyo pag pray and kung naa mo simba? unsa inyo activities sa sulod simbahan?

Just to be clear, i don't have any intentions to convert to LDS. My intention is to learn and be educated.
