Don't presume to know how I treat my helpers. I don't need to pity them because they are well taken care of.

And oh, here's a question I know you're going to duck. How much do you pay your maids? As the one and only card-carrying member of the Hyperwage Gestapo, you must pay them way more than P2,000/month, right? Right? So how much? If 2 or 3X is attainable, are you paying them P6,000/month? You didn't need to wait for government to tell you to do so, right? You are practicing what you are preaching, right? You're already giving them a decent chance at survival, right? Change must start from within, right?

Rubber meets the road, fool. Let's talk about that.

    Lets try discussing two things,
    1. How we can increase capitalism
    2. How we can increase free trade.

Lets try performing a SWOT technique. Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats relative to each Program. Does anyone have relevant background information on these for the Phils?

Are these quantitative or qualitative data? This is kinda broad. I've only looked at SWOT analyses per industry sector.

We need to identify the relevant factors for success. The background data can be both quantiative data like amount of foreign investments, tarriffs by category in a year over year trend analysis. Good to understand starting points and trends. Qualitative data will be sources of funds, internal programs both goverment and non-goverment. Where exactly is investment coming from. Who are the investments structured. Are the laws inhibiting or promoting investment. A peel back the onion approach will reveal lots of interesting and useful data.

    to foolonthe hill,

As an expert on HWT, please explain how HWT can promote capitalism and free trade in the Philippines? Also, please identify any examples where HWT was a tool used in countries that rose out of poverty to prosperity?

Take this chance to put the HWT ideas you endorse to good work. Rarely do any valid theories stand alone, but they are supported by others. Free trade and capitalism are proven ways to reduce poverty, HWT isnt. As we say on the street, put your money where your mouth is or quit wasting others time.

this topic urged me to say back that life is unfair!but we have to live with it,
poverty is there like that of there is good there is also evil,
    general rule: balance of things.
    poverty is inevitable..we must
    live with it

    Fool,

Have you thought about creating using unions as a way of increasing salaries. During the early 20th century in the USA unions were formed to addressed salary and other working related conditions. They were successful upto a point but then began an anchor on businesses as that the cost structures became too expensive. Instead of waiting for the goverment to act, take it upon yourself to step up to the plate. Consider this a viable way of reducing poverty. You could be the fool in charge of the helpers union.
