Nka DHCP naman both, sir and ma'am.
dili ka ghapon mka connect, unsay ip imo mkuha? It should be on the range of ip pool dhcp nmo, then the gateway and dns you specified. if sakto ip nimo madawat, check your wan. i assume dynamic raman config wan nimo, click on the status of router to display the information of your lan and wan.. Also check your internet browser setting, daghan k na experience na nka proxy server settings and pointing to unreachable proxy server, you should disable it.
Akong router is on bridged mode, I can't change the DCHP to enable, but na enable nako ang DHCP Lan. Still can't connect. Kahibaw mo unsaon pag-enable sa DHCP sa bridged mode?
DCHP Enabled ... Yes
Autoconfiguration Enabled ... Yes
IPv4 Address ... 169.254.227.224 (Preferred) --> Layo kaayo sa akong starting IP which is 192.168.1.64
if im not wrong generated ni cya na ip sang pc pag nag dhcp request ka kag no dhcp server reply. That means your not connected sa imong netwok, unsa na wired or wireless? pag wired check ur cabling, port gitauran nimo check light if ok, kong wireless kita man niya SSID nimo, naa ka authentcation o open lang? unsa na diay imo router?
Linksys WAG54G ako router, sir. Then my modem is from PLDT, ZyXel P-600 series. I have accessed my modem's configuration page. I think my modem's setting should be routing while bridged mode only ako router. Na try nako 1348 (Idk unsa jud toh nga number) Bridged. Pde ma enable ang DHCP, but dili pde sa modem. I have tried enabling DHCP sa modem but mangayo ug server. Sad to say wa ko kahibaw unsa ako server so ako ra gibutangan ug 192.168.1.64. Then my connection is lost. Until now wala pa nako na tarong. By the way, unsa nga setting ang DHCP? DHCP Server or DHCP Relay?
dhcp server bai
ohm murag nag mismatch anang confg sa modem ug router nimo.
heres posible setup:
modem: (bridge mode)
mode = bridge
encapsulation = rfc 1483
multiplexing= LLC
(ang lan sang modem nka disable kay bridge mode man)
router:
wan or internet:
* if dynamic lng acnt nimo configure it to dynamic or dhcp
* if naa user name and pass acnt nimo configure it to pppoe
*. if static acnt configure it to static
on lan: (configure lan sample)
ip=192.168.100.1
SM=255.255.255.0
dhcp server=enable
start ip pool=30
pool=50
gateway=192.168.100.1
pri dns=203.172.11.21
sec dns=203.172.11.25
if your modem is on router mode, dynamic nlng sa wan sang router nimo same set up lan nimo. be sure lng na dili same network lan ka modem ug lan ka router nimo. by default 192.168.1.x ang lan ka modem. but i would suggest eh bridge mode nlang nimo ang modem just like config above. router should be on router mode
My setup now is, modem on bridge and my router is also on bridge mode only. I think dynamic man tingae ni amo connection. If ang mode sa akong router is bridged mode only, d man nako ma enable akong DHCP nor can set DHCP pool. But if 1483 Bridged, ma set nako. In the other hand, ma set nako ang DHCP server sa akong modem but wala ko kahibaw sa IP.
My latest setup:
Router:
Encapsulation: RFC 1483 Bridged
Multi: LLC
IP: Obtain an IP add automatically
Local IP: 192.168.1.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Local DHCP Server: Enable
Autodetect LAN DHCP Server: Enable
Starting IP add: 192.168.1.64
Maximum DHCP user: 20
Modem:
Mode: Bridging
Encapsulation: RFC 1483
Multiplexing: LLC
