    Default Cloud Computing

    Cloud Computing

G.ho.st ("ghost") is a Virtual Computer for free, all that is required is an Internet Browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, FireFox or Safari) with the already popular Flash plug-in (at least version 8 ).

I'm using it to get to my desktop, files and apps from any computer and my mobile phone. If you use it too we can share files and chat. Also I get an extra 5GB of storage when you sign up

    Benefits:

    * Freedom - Your entire computing environment is available and accessible from any computer or mobile phone browser in the world.

    * No more administration - No more software installation, software update, worry about backup, anti-virus, or sync.

    * Security - Your data is in a professional data center, much safer than in a typical PC which is susceptible to viruses, spyware and disk crashes. If you are using a shared computer (Internet Cafe, school library), G.ho.st also helps to protect your privacy.

    * Cost - When using the G.ho.st Virtual Computer you can choose a cheaper more environmentally friendly computer like a 'netbook' or 'thin-client' and also save money on software - no need for Microsoft Windows® or Office®. You can also use G.ho.st in Internet Cafes, libraries and on mobile phones without owning a computer or Internet connection.

    * Fun And collaboration - Being online, G.ho.st offers more opportunities for sharing files with friends, communicating with friends, and bringing your social news - from FaceBook®, Twitter® and others - right onto your desktop.

    * Far better computing experience - even on shared computers, every computer is your computer

I think this is possible... when I experience kindle pad.. it's more like it.. everywhere I go I got signal.. I can search and download new ebooks via wifi..

cloud computing is really near.. and apple is on it developing for their ipad ( which I think they stole the idea from kindle).. and some say that " This is why there's a stench of panic hanging over silicon valley. "

but most programmers here says that your data is not safe.. everyone can access..

I'm not still clear on this threat but I can sense that the ecosystem of computer will evolve to the next generation of computing.
