i guess we could say we're paying fo the quality.
there's cordon bleu sg. m not sure of the price though but definitely cheaper. another place na medyo ning sikat karon is sun-rice in singapore. it will cost SGD40k for 2yrs but you will receive SGD700 for every month that you will be there. cca will cost around 6ook. anyway the ownwer of ginza told me that if i were considering going to these schools might as well go for CIA nalang dw. btw he's part of of aica
Well u wont go wrong with CUlinary Intitute of AMerica but what you learn from them is nothing different from ur local community college , advantage lang gyud sa ngalan when it comes to APPLICATION TIME for WORK . AFAIK .... Wolfgang Puck is an alumni of CIA , mao na ang stepping stone niya but in reality , kabulay-og ana niya !! Kataw-an ra na siya sa Executive Chef nako kung skills and knowledge wise lang storyahan na kababata and co member sa akong chef sa ilang organization na culinary association sa Vegas .
If you have the money to burn , go for the best but kung ma afford lang is ang community colleges or mga suking universities , you have to work hard for it to succeed sa food and beverage industry compared as an alumni from these prestigeous schools na dalhon lang nimo ang ngalan na ALUMNI ka nila , start ur engines na !

yeah james barber is the urban peasant.Â* i like his "just dump it in there" style.Â* as for mr batali, his style is very easy to get tips from although i wish some of the ingredients in these high end cooking shows are easier or more affordable to get.
most of the ingredients can be found sa ayala. yes, sakto jud ka...may pagka mahal sad jud.

@jumpszilla...ako usahay gamit lang ko alternates...for example recipe calls for rapini or escareole....aw spinach lang ako gamiton....usahay puede ra man sad....
i do agree that substitution can be a solution but there's a different kind of satisfaction to be had if you use the exact ingredients.
agree...pero usahay man gud wala locally sa atoa ang ingredients....so i settle for the next best thing na lang instead of not cooking it kay wa ko complete ingredients.....nindot unta mag organize ug EB for a small group lang unya di ta adto restaurant...find lang ta mo host (place) nya bring ta a dish each...para ma share with each other hasta recipe and unsa ang pag prepare....Originally Posted by jumps_zilla
