Naminaw mi when their time came to practice unya dili gani kamao unsay F#dim. Point out lang nato on this thread nga whether you are a seasoned musician or a wannabee, there are certain unwritten rules that you should follow.

    1. try to be on time during practices. a 3PM practice schedule should start at 3PM. a 15min delay may be acceptable pero anything thing beyond that is being inconsiderate to your bandmates and to the studio manager.

    2. respect the bands playing ahead and after you. try to listen to their music kay basin naa moy ma learn. a true artist always evolves.

    3. for drummers, okay ra kung wala kay own nimo nga drumset, but get your own sticks. ayaw og panghuwam and ayaw pag expect that the studio owner will let you borrow his sticks.

    4. OK ra na kung mo huwam ra ka og gitara, pero at least have your own pick and strap. lain kaayo nang magpa-gamit og strap sa lain kay mo pilit intawon na ang baho.

    5. Kung maka-putol ka og strings, at least offer to share the cost of replacing the string. ayaw og rason nga da-an na ang string unya padung na og kaputol.

    6. If you are part of an event, tune your guitars ahead. don't be the jerks who comes up on stage, spends 10 minutes tuning their guitars, and then perform a 3 minute song. kataw-an ra mo ana.

    7. If there is a sound and instrument check before the gig, attend dyud mo so that the sound engineer or mixer will know the settings that you want. aron pud makahibaw mo asa i-plug-in ang inyong gadgets and effects. dili na mo mag spend og 10-15 minutes on stage getting ready. diretso na lang og crank-up to check the volume and then tukar diretso.

    8. stand-by mo for a while after your set and talk with the other bands. ayaw mo og uli diretso or pagpa-daplin kay magpa-lahi kunohay kay gusto mo og "pa-serious artist effect". wala'y mo-tuo ninyo ana. mura na hinuon mo'g mga pahoy.

    9. most sound engineers and mixers know their jobs. so kung ikaw wala'y kalibutan sa set-up sa stage or wala kay experience handling stage set-ups, ayaw samoka ang sound engineer/mixer. just tell them how you will play and what is your song line-up and give him your requests then wait for the soundcheck. anha na ka mohatag sa imong mga suggestions-not beforehand. if dili dyud ka ka-uyon then tell the organizers.

    10. kung bag-o ra ka na kat-on, don't act as if you know a lot kay mo lutaw ra dyud na sooner or later ang imong inexperience. it is best if you learn from those who are seasoned.

    11. kung seasoned na ka, don't act as if you are a superstar. share your knowledge and experiences with aspiring musicians who properly approach you and ask for your opinions. last saturday, naa intawon batan-on nga ni huwat dyud nga mahuman mi. after mi naka-lingkod, diha na siya ni duol unya ni ask kung puede ba tudluan siya og one particular riff. ang nahitabo, 2 hours mi nag tig-jam niya kay ganahan mi sa iyang approach. imbis magpa-tudlo lang og one riff ra, gipa-lead and rythm namo siya for an additional practice session. nindot kaayo ang feeling to teach aspiring musicians.

    naa pa'y mo add ani?
#3 sakto jud drummers should bring their own sticks and accessories. Unya take care of the drum sets pud especially during performances kay di raba na inyoha and consider pud the next performers. Bring your own drum keys ug ayaw'g pangawat ug pisa sa drum kits.

#9 lots of techs actually know what they are doing and will gladly accommodate whatever timpla you want, all you have to do is ask nicely. If you happen to have your own roadies, please tell them to be respectful too and make sure that they bring all your necessary stuff like drum keys, drum sticks, picks etc.

additional, during events, there is always alloted time for sound checks. make sure that you use that as the name implies. kanang tuning, do it before you come up the stage and invest in a good chromatic tuner. Do not use the sound check time for sipra, practice and sipra should be done in the studio. Dili lang kamo ang mo sound check and dili ra kana ang concern sa mga technical crew and event organizers. Sound checks are for monitor mixing aron dili mo mangayabag. Always make sure that your instruments are in good condition. After playing, pananghid before mo unplug sa mga instruments, tech crews are always there to assist you.

I would like to suggest that bands should prepare their tech rider and send it to the organizers, preferably with band placement and the patch chart aron di mag kara kara ang mga tech crew taod ug additional mics ug lines sa inyong mga additional ek-eks. As always, arrive on-site way ahead of your call time and talk to the organizers/tech crew about what your needs and concerns.

Oist migo. .
unless naa mu manager but if ija2 ramu og amot sa studio dli jud na malikayan naa malate, mangindian
mangluod. dli natu ma please ato self, about sa late?. . . hihihihi, permi jud ko malate coz layu amu
and nag work pud ko para mka tabang2 gamay sa banda gastohon? i stand as band manager pud! hihihi. hinuon basta late sabot ko ana basta mu txt lang pahibalo bah na malate or naa emergency!
ako pina ka hate kanang sabot2 unya dli tumanon. for example praktis mu kron? txtsan lang ka og sunod nalang bai, unya apiki na sa oras bah completo namu hapit unya ge sabotan pajud unya dli pajud mu explain. pag ka tuy2x anang batasana. unprofessional kaau! about sa amotan? money should not be an issue para namu mga extreme performer we are not paid man gud we just want to
spread among virus. lols.. again money should not be an issue, sa naay kwarta ika amot or naa work
sabotable najud na na tig-tapal but lahe napud na og ga sige nalang og tapal. abuso nana!
about sa instrument ulos2x okies ra cguro na if wala ka ika palit and 2nd ampinge pud tawn ang imo ge uslan wui. and also make an effort to buy your own bsan 2ndhand w/ good quality.
about sa stage churva, dli tanan set-up nindot bsan gae kanang SB, uban gae make sure nindot ang tipla. and ayaw e generalize tanan genre, coz if imow music extreme nya ang amps oplok mag lisud jud ka pangeta sakto na tingog dha nka mka consume og 2 much time, i dont think kataw-an ka if u want ur musick to be perfect as much as possible wen performing. kong imow music choi2x or variety
kana cguro dli complicated wui. so ayaw e blame tanan palpak coz uban engineers mapya! kapila nami ka experience ani, basta ila banda gae mutukar bongaa nindot ayu og labas sa uban gae tuy2x paminawon. so it should be tech and musicians maoy mag sabot2x b4 ma start. also uban engineers
kat-on sad mog respeto og metal ha? ky dli tanan sabah yabag! okies? check ur self if tinuod jud ka na music engineer ky if tinuod ka kabaw ka maki-bagay unless engineer ka or tech sa diskohan or baili.
lastly if banda ka, down to earth jud ka.. if manaway ka keep it to your self and we should not be sensetive kaau if sawayon ta! check pud nato ato self para sa sunod gig dli nata sawayon. dli jud ma please tanan audience gud labi na if dli nila typ nu musik, uban banda manukar favoratism kaau
og kaila nila pwerting kiata, taka lag mosh bsan tuy2x kaau pag ka tukar! kiat lang agi... to appreciate or not dosent mean to us! hell no! we want everyone to me be metalize and scrutenize!
basta malingaw me.. lingaw me! and those pipol hu understand our music by heart! cla amo energy!
they bring us total chaos in stage! we dont wan to play mag tan-aw mi sa mga tao na pugos og headbang! gusto namo ksabot cla and we hate POSER! k*ll them.. coz they our killing our scene!
bow! supportahay lang gud ta if parehas naa sa xa scene kanang mga uban dha na kevz, kevz sa tah! lols... rock and roll!
