Actually, more than half of the jews in Germany and parts of Europe during the WWII were not Christians. They practice Judaism and were businessmen who held half of the german economy. Most of the workers aren't germans and finding job [esp. germans/austrians] with different businesses has to do a lot of selections and most of the time their affiliations with religious backgrounds.
My source, it was a 67 year old patient of mine. How true? Well, it's their versions of the story. I hope this Demjanjuk guy will shed some of the stories after receiving 29,000+ counts of murder during WWII.
