i didn't know this upcoming movie is based on a video game as i am completely ignorant when it comes to that matter but i've seen the trailer and it's quite scary. looking forward to watch it soon.

The thing about Silent Hill is its very different from the RESIDENT EVIL franchise. Whereas RE relies more on "pakurat" style nga scares laced with biological and genetic experimentation-themed undertones, Silent Hill is truly both scary and disturbing if you delve more sa symbolism sa characters, monsters and what-not.

Mas action-oriented ang Resident Evil. Silent Hill, well...the only thing standing between you and the almighty is a flashlight affixed to the main character's shirt/jacket and either a gun or some other kind of weapon. :mrgreen: Silent Hill is the only game nga panagsa ra kau nako duwa-on EVEN with someone in the room or daytime or bisag naay lights. Hadlok gihapon.

Flashlight lang jud intawn.. Mukarat na gani imong radio, then pag-lingi nimo sa ngitngit na portion...naa nay little demons.
Lingaw jud kaayo mag-remenisce ka sa moments especially kanang gulba kaayo na parts...

I'm forever grateful to the PS1 for those moments. :mrgreen:

i am a great fan of this game. bisan pa kadto sa PS1 pa btaw, ako gud ate kay pakatolgun nya ug sayo iya baby kay mutan-aw nako ug duwa kay ganahan sad siya sa storya. one of the best games that came out of the PS1 pag tungtong sa PS2 nawagtang naman ang essence. pero disturbing gihapon cya. Diin man gi base ang game sa 1 o 2 or any i the series. kay kng ang 1 ang papa man tuy nangita sa iya anak, sa trailer kay ang mama man....

I think sa 1 man ni gi-based kay similar man ang settings. Naa sad si Cybil. Pero naa sad ni sagol na 2 kay kita man ko Pyramidhead sa trailer..
