sakto gyud ka bro..actually I entered networking business 2002 then upto now nag-part time ko. I don't want to mention the name of the company. Then last year I entered direct selling as well, but iba pa rin talaga kasi kung may traditional business ka. I'm reading books din about businesses tsaka mga books ni robert kyosaki, and lately lang ang book ni Gerry Roberts titled Millionaires Mindset. Grabe ang mga ideas na nakuha ko. Pero somehow mas maganda pa rin kumuha ng mga ideas dito sa istorya kasi I do believe may mga taong posibleng makatulong sakin dito.

Maybe tama ka na one aspect na nabankrupt ang company na sinasabi mo because of the said coach, but sana wag mo naman lahatin. Kasi according sa statistics marami talagang company ang nagsasara before they reach their 5th yr kumabaga 9 out of 10 ay nalulugi. Pero ok lang kasi for sure kung nagkamali ka that time eh di mo na uulitin yung pagkakamaling yun next time, right?

i wont say na di na ko mousab ug hire ug consultant, depende kon unsa nga service akong gikinahanglan. para nako di na man kinahanglan nga mo hire ug coach basta nasayod lang ka unsaon pagdala imong small bisnis. kon dili ayuhon ug plano ang bisnis from the start magsara jud. naay daghan nagstart ug bisnis, hire dayon ug daghang employado, class kaau ug mga hitsura nya diay way mga kliyente, way income. sobrang ambisyoso di diay kabalo modala ug negosyo, mao na ma down jud. naay daghang online courses nga pd nimo eskuylahan, naay mga books. moeskuyla na lang kay sa mo-hire ug coach naa pa kay makat-unan. depende man na sa tawo kon gusto jud siya magnegosyo nya wa siyay knowledge about sa klase sa bisnis nga iyang sudlan syempre mokuha siyag coach.

    my thoughts on the matter:

    1. as mr.dj said, to become a credible business "coach" one must first prove himself as a successful entrepreneur. Lately, i've seen people who pass themselves as business coaches but are either part-time businessmen or still employees of call centers.

    2. Marketing, Finance and Management are different fields of expertise. NO ONE can claim that they are experts in all of them.

    3. Also to become a reliable "coach", one must have extensive knowledge of the business. An entrepreneur from a different field of business cannot fully be dependable as a coach to another entrepreneur from a different field of business.

    ex:

An entrepreneur who does food franchising will not know anything with the printing business and vice-versa.

    4. every company has a different management strategy that fits to their need. there is no exact system.

    5. Will an SME entrepreneur actually trust a "coach" knowing that he may also be a "coach" to another entrepreneur and quite possibly a competitor?

Again, I posted this article not because I'm a coach, in fact hindi ko ito sariling article,I was surfing the net and I found this article, it make sense kaya naisipan kung I-post dito sa istorya.net para naman mapag-usapan. I would like to be a coach especially sa business world. Somehow yung mga sinabi nyo about coaching is really true. I'm here to get ideas from smart people like you guys to somehow enhance my skills in coaching. Kung may sasabihin pa kayo about coaching, please post more articles here or ideas so i could learn from it.

As of now I can't consider myself yet as a coach sa larangan ng business that's why I would like to venture this kind of business. I've been coaching people in how to have a positive attitude, uplifting their morales and teaching them how to set their goals and etc... I conduct team buildings... of course may bayd pero di pa ganun kalaki ang sinisingil ko. Kapag mga students ay 150 per person lang for 1 day na workshop then sa mga teachers and ibang mga businessmen at mga networkers ay 400 pataas/ head.

    Right now I'm on the process of researching kung paano maging isang magaling na coach and here are some of my research;

Here are 5 great tips that you can use regardless if you are coach or a mentor:

    1. Active listening. Whether you are a coach or a mentor, you need to practice active listening each time your clients are talking. You need to know where they are coming from and the things that they are struggling with and this will not happen if you are not willing to keep your mouth shut.

    2. Communicate high expectations. Before you start your first session, make sure that you tell your clients that you have faith that they will perform highly. You will need to do this to boost their self-confidence.

    3. Build relationship first. Don't even try to start coaching or mentoring your clients unless you build relationship with them first. They must see you as someone who is genuinely interested in helping them out and not just another person who is just after they money.

    4. Improve your communication skills. This is very important as you'll be communicating with your clients on a regular basis. Improve not only your oral but written communication skills as well. You must be able to articulate your thoughts and ideas flawlessly.

    5. Impress your clients. One way to show your clients that you are truly interested in helping them out is showing your willingness that you'll go out of your way just to make sure that they'll be able to reach their goals.

    6. Develop a game plan. Have a clear vision and plan of action that are geared toward achieving the results desired by your clients. You will need to do this so you can determine ahead of time where your clients might get side tracked so you can do recalibration before the coaching program starts.

    7. Align your game plan to the goals of your clients. Obviously, you will need to make sure that your game plan is focused to the needs and demands of your clients and that it is designed to help these people get everything they need to reach their goals. Explain to these people how your action plans can help them get to where they would like to be to get them motivated.

    8. Assess the skill levels of your clients. Isolate the needed skills required to realize the pre-set goals of the coaching program and see if your clients posses them. For example, if you are coaching people about business management, you need to know if they possess the following skills; people skills, delegation skills, coaching and mentoring skills, etc. By doing so, you know right away where to focus your efforts to give your clients their exact learning needs.

    9. Consider your clients' level of comprehension. As a coach, you need to find the best ways on how you can send your message across without causing confusion. I recommend that you determine their level of comprehension and use this as a guide when talking to them. Use the words and language that they are using in their everyday conversion to promote better understanding.
