ayn rand's philosophy... nindot sad basahon.
Wala mana gi tugot ni Lord.
well, to istoryans who believe in "after-life", how about you be some kind of symbolic being sacrifice and do us a favor of proving it?
everyday life involves some form of self-sacrifice. when we do not mind anymore how we benefit from our actions and deeds, but continue to do something because it will benefit the good of humanity, that is self-sacrifice..
example: being honest even when others are not.
a contradiction. because if there is no self-sacrifice, then there is no choice. if there is no choice, then the definition of self-sacrifice as an act... is nullified.
yes i do believe in self sacrifice. its happening everyday.
whenever someone offers thier kidney to another person to save thier lives.
ur blood perhaps to someone who needs it.
the mother thing that u mentioned--u can never really tell unless ur a mother urself,
or whenever u give alms to the poor rather than spending it.
kanang mu ingon ko na gwapa akong magulang--grabe na akong self sacrifice anah hahahaha
daghan man...kalimut lang kos uban hehehe i-sleepy naman gud ko.
SELF SACRIFICE is contradicting.
have you read the article that the TS posted? there is no such thing as self-sacrifice. giving a kidney to another person not only benefits THAT person but there is an UNDERLYING benefit to the giver as well (i.e. donor gets paid, etc.)
so, there is no such thing as self-sacrifice. it is only superficial.
nia napud nis sir....kahibaw jud d i kas tanang istorya? meaning, tanan nag donate sa tibuok kalibutan(everyday)sa ilang kidney or blood is to get some dough?only that?
aw hinuon...lahi ra jud sguro ning maka tungtung natas states ky kahibaw naman dayon tas tanan.
tsk tsk tsk such negativity...whatta waste.
