Phenom X3 or Core 2 Duo E8000 Series

Please give your opinion on this..
Currently I have Pentium Dual-Core E2200and a Asus motherboard not high-end, Im planning to upgrade to Phenom X3.. but i need to sell my mobo and processor and i don't even have an idea how much these items worth thinking that it has been used for almost 2yrs. my budget sticks on 6K(i guess) which is the price of a core 2 duo . When i go with AMD, I nid to buy mobo and proc which may cause me 10K+ ... so guyz help me decide and i would appreciate if you give me pros and cons to make my decision easier.. thank

phenom x3 vs. C2D? i'd rather go sa C2D bro.. pero kung phemon II x3 pa noon, aww kana apas2 ra jd ang performance..

@treby08: hulat2x lng sa bro. Naa man maabot mga new procs late this year, maybe september or october. By then cguro, munaog na prices sa mga items og mas daghan na pud ka mapilian.

kung phenom II x4 ni siya, i would say go for it but since phenom raman, E8xxx is the way to go.

in case you didn't know, AMD has released Phenom II X2/X4, your post is Phenom X3 only. big difference between Phenom and Phenom II
