    Default Video Card not recognized

    Hello Istoryans,

I'm trying to install a video card (gfx 5500, 256mb, AGP) on my PC but it's not recognizing it. My PC has an on board Intel(R) graphics controller.

Gi try na nako uninstalling the drivers of the Intel(R) graphics controller, changed the settings from PCI to AGP in BIOS pero dili japon gi recognize and hardware.

I noticed that the (AGP) setting set in BIOS dili mo save. Mag sige lang balik da PCI setting.

Any suggestion to fix this issue would be gladly appreciated.

    Thanks

Bisan naka PCI na sya bro, automatic naman siguro na mo change to AGP if detected. Wala na defect ang video card? testingi sa lain nga motherboard bro.

Pwedi man gani naa kay Video Card and you can still use the Internal Video, for Dual Monitor.

Pwedi dual monitor bro, what man video card nimo? Dual monitor meaning pwedi e extend imong screen sa usa ka monitor aron mo samot ka WIDE screen, or dual display.

Yes pwedi kaayo LCD and CRT, ang LCD sa GeForce then ang CRT sa Built-in video, dapat naka install ang driver sa imong on board video, then naay settings sa Nvidia Control panel, or naa sa Desktop Settings, extend your display.

Diba daghan man ug video out? naay VGA and DVI?

Check here. Dual Monitor Setup, Using Dual Computer Monitors, Connecting Dual Monitors, Building a Dual Monitor Computer
