    Default Photobank or Imagebank

is this technology still practical? would you get one?

an imagebank or photobank is a laptop hdd enclosure with builtin multicard reader (CF/SD) and battery operated. this way you can transfer you card contents (PHOTOS) to the hdd with a press of a button without the need of a PC/laptop. that way you can format the card for more photoshooting...

for travel/adventure photographers photo/image banks always comes in handy. on some of my adventures I managed to gather +/-100 gig of photos... presently am tied to Epson's old P4000 (80g) and planning to get a higher capacity or another storage.

do you have a storage of around 80-120? CF? price? does it have a display for reviewing just like the epson's or just like the 'King's??

I agree with Recon. It comes very handy for event shoots. I have an imagebank which I'm very happy with. During event shoots I usually carry two 2GB CF's and image bank 60GB, cause its much faster transferring compared to my 8GB CF's. Planning to get a P5000 as well . In my opinion it eliminates the cost of buying High Capacity CF's (16GB) which you can buy a higher storage HD. IMO

I shoot Raw + Jpeg in order to view it in my ZEN >> it does not support viewing for raw.
