If ur asking where to backpack this holy week, i will be joining the annual trek of Bantayog mountaineers from Baybay Leyte. Though, im from samar, i was always invited to join them. Their trip now, on their 31st anniversary, is to climb the Mt. Hanginan Camping Area in Maasin City, Leyte, few meters below that camping site is an pilgrimage church that worth trekking the high grounds. Once you reach the top, a panoramic view will greet you. A day after, we will trek the famous Cagnitoan Cave for some caving activities (but wait, i forgot to tell you there will also be a caving activity in the first day - into a small church built inside the cave, so not actually hard caving). On the 3rd day, a beacheneering or island hopping filled with fun and laughters will follow. The activity will start on April 9 and will end four days after. The GOOD NEWS is NO REG FEES will be collected, just be sure you bring all your stuffs like transpo fare and food provisions. The complete IT will be seen at Pinoycaver

dream ni nakong mount apo, lisod lang mangita ug time to trek there, i'm from cebu and working,
my cousin from davao said 3-4 days jud daw ang budget sa amount apo, which is sakit sa dughan kay 4 days pud ang akong salary deduction, wah! hopefully if naa nako vacation leave benefits, pwede nako mo-climb sa apo

Hello guys im syzkce from davao im also a mountaineers. If you want to have a real adventure i suggest that you go to davao and climb to Mt.Apo cause its really beautiful out there its worthless experience specially when youre on the peak...but only if you have time so you better check that out guys. thanks

hey, i have planned out to assault mt apo this coming october 2009 sembreak, but i am now thinking to cancel it since nag iba na daw ang rates dun ngayon. is it true na Php500 ang babayaran ng bawat isa sa permit/entrance sa Mt. Apo? transpo from davao to kidapawan is P250? and kidapawan to agco is P150? (van) if this is true, meaning, pag 30 kami pumunta dun, 30x500 ganun ba? mga guys hindi ba ito expensive? thanks po. just inquiring lang po kung totoo ito. salamat sa magrereply.
